The Cowon S9 has a curved backside and features a 3.3 inch color AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with 480x272px resolution and 16m colors.
Other features of the Cowon S9 include 500Mhz Dual Core CPU, T-DMB TV, Bluetooth, FM tuner, voicerecorder, G-Sensor, TV-Out, 40 hour music playback on a single battery charge, music, video and photo player, and Macromedia Flash User interface.
The Cowon S9 has the looks and the feature set to be a very nice alternative Christmasgift to the AppleiPod, but it looks like it is not shipping in time for Christmas day. It is always puzzling to me why companies miss out on the Holidayshopping seaon like that. Cowon is not the first one to miss the hot shopping season by a couple days.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
