HTC Google Android still on Track for Q4

In June the WSJ reported about some Android delays that would push the release of Android phones into 2009. Digitimes reports that HTC is still on track to ship Google Android mobile phones in Q4 of 2008 to carriers.

Even if HTC is shipping Android phones, it might still take carriers some time to actually get these phones into stores.
Carriers are expected to deploy their own applications on Android phones. The development time for these might push the release into 2009.
