Developers of iPhone Apps got their first sales statistics from Apple from the iTunes App Store.

Some developers seemed to have hit the jackpot with their little apps for the iPhone.
9 to 5 Mac published the numbers of Elize Block, who developed a crossword puzzle for the iPhone. She was almost making $2,000 on a single day from her app that sells for $5.99.
This is pretty good news for iPhone developers and shows that the iTunes distribution model works for software as good as it does for music.
