Apple has been offering the same basic Cinema Displays for a number of years now with nothing more than slight spec updates. According to rumors that may well change in early 2009 at MacWorld 2009 with a total refresh across the line.
Apple is said to be refreshing the line of Cinema Displays that are currently offered in 20-inch, 23-inch, and 30-inch sizes. There are no hard details on what the update would entail at this time.
However, it would not be much of a stretch to see the line go to LED backlighting. I could also see the displays gaining more inputs, possibly even a DisplayPort. Pricing will be expensive considering that the current models sell for £399, £599, and £1,199 for the 20-inch, 23-inch, and 30-inch sizes respectively.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year.
