Nikon announces the COOLPIX S560, a stylish new camera that packs high performance and advanced functions into the smallest body in its class. The class Nikon defined here is the 10 megapixel compact cameras equipped with optical vibration reduction and retractable 5x zoom as of August 7, 2008.
Highlights of the Nikon Coolpix S560 include Automated and optimized operating modes, VR image stabilization for sharper results, ISO 3200 sensitivity and 2.7 inch screen.
Other features of the Nikon S560 include 10MP, Three Unique Nikon Image Innovations: Face-priority AF, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, D-Lighting, 15 scene modes for optimized results in various shooting situations, Macro shooting from as close as 10 cm, 5x digital zoom, Active Zoom, Four movie modes with sound, plus time-lapse movie mode, SDHC card support and 44MB internal memory.
The measurements of the S560 are 93 x 54.5 x 23.5 mm and the weight is 130g.
