Nikon unveils the COOLPIX S610c and COOLPIX S610. Nikon says that the S610c and S610 feature the world’s fastest start-up time of a mere 0.7 seconds (Among compact cameras equipped with 28mm (35mm format equivalent) zoom lens and optical vibration reduction as of August 7, 2008).
Feature highlights of the Coolpix S610c and S610 include Automated and optimized shooting modes, Optical VR image stabilization and Built-in wireless connectivity to my Picturetown (S610c only).
Other features of the S610c and S610 include 10MP, 16 scene modes, ISO 1600 max., 4x digital zoom, Active Zoom, Motion Detection, Macro shooting from as close as 3 cm and 45MB internal memory.
Measurements of the Wi-Fi enabled S610c camera are 96.5 x 57 x 22.5 mm and the measurements of the S610 94 x 57 x 22.5 mm.
Pricing and shipping dates are not published yet by Nikon.
