Today, August 19th marks the beginning of our 100 days countdown until the Thanksgiving Sales 2008 start. Thanksgiving has become the ultimate start for the Holiday Gift Shopping Season when retailers offer tremendous deals on the hottest gadgets and consumer electronics.
Back in the day, sales started on Black Friday after Thanksgiving, but these times are over. Some retailers already offer deals even before Thanksgiving and of course sales continue the whole week after Thanksgiving.
To prepare you for this sales madness and give you time to prepare for this year's Holiday gift shopping we will bring you a Holiday gift tip each day for the next 100 days. On Thanksgiving Day we will have 100 tech-gift tips in 10 categories online for you.
If you think it is too early to start thinking about Holiday shopping think again. The first candidates of hard to find toy gifts (Elmo Live, Wall-E Ultimate) went already up for pre-order last week and if you see a Wii for $249 in a Mall on your Sunday stroll - BUY IT.
It is also smart to wise up on the prices of the electronics or gadgets you plan to buy this Holidays before the sales offers appear all over the place on Thanksgiving Day. If you know what the current pricing or suggested manufacturer price is you can better judge if you are looking at a great deal or not. We wish you lots of fun with your Holiday Gift Shopping coverage and hope our Top 100 Holiday Gift Guide 2008 will be helpful to you.
Below is the list of the 10 gift categories that will be filled each with the top 10 gift tips over the next 100 days.
The first Gift Tip is already online. Check it out here.
