Asus announces the B50A business notebook, which offers the latest Express Gate technology that empowers users with a 8s boot-up time for rapid access to a host of multimedia and online applications.
The Asus B50A features a spill-resistant keyboard, so the notebook is protected from accidental spills of up to 120cc of liquid. Productivity is also guaranteed with a special built-in LED light for the keyboard that allows computing in dimmed meeting rooms.
Other features of the Asus B50A include Intel Centrino 2 Processor Technology platform, ASUS-exclusive Power4 Gear eXtreme power management with up to 5 hours battery life, up to 4GB RAM, 15.4 inch screen, up to 320GB SATA HDD, 1.3MP camera, DVD Super-Multi Light Double Layer drive, Intel GMA X4500HD and Wi-Fi.

It looks like the Asus B50A is already available in Austria and Germany. Pricing and release date for the United States are unknown.
