Android powered smartphone finally crawl out of the woodwork where they where hiding during CES 2009 and MWC 2009. Samsung is shipping their first Android Phone I7500 in June and new rumors point to two new Android phones coming from Motorola.
BGR reports that the Motorola Calgary is supposed to be the first Motorola Android phone. The Moto Calgary (photo) is said to feature a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
BGR also reports about the Motorola Ironman which is also an Android phone and supposed to come in Q3. The Motorola Ironman would be a candybar slider and feature 3G and Wi-fi.
Both Motorola Android phones still stuck very deep in rumor land.
These new Android phones still feel like test balloons sent out by the phone makers to see if consumers flock to Android or if Android is still not ready to compete with Apple iPhone, WinMo and Palm webOS powered phones.
