The Inspiron 910, Dell's entry into the netbook market, generates a lot of interest and the anticipation for the release is mounting. I guess Dell will go official with the Inspiron 910 next week. For now Engadget has posted some screen-shots of the Inspiron 910 running Ubuntu 8.04 Linux.
The screens show a quick launch toolbar desk and the photos also reveal a look at the 8.9 inch screen and the keyboard of the Dell Inspiron 910.Based on leaked specifications, the Atom based Dell Inspiron 910 netbook features a 8.9 inch screen with 1024x600px resolution, 512MB/1GB RAM, 4GB/8GB/16GB SSD storage, 1.3MP camera, and 4-cell battery.
If Dell is pricing the Inspiron 910 low the company could possibly catch up to Asus' Eee, based on the interest we are seeing on I4U News for it.
