Google apparently chose an interesting way to announce their open source web browser project dubbed Chrome. They hired Comic legend Scott McCloud (known best for Understanding Comics) to draw up a 38 page comic book explaining Google Chrome.
Google Chrome browser is based on Webkit and will include Google Gears and a Javascript engine called V8.
The Chrome browser features tabs above the menu to stand out.
It is understandable that Google is trying to position their own browser. If we need yet another browser is another question.
Google Blogscoped has scanned the Chrome comic book and put it online. Update: Google Chrome Download comes today.
