Starting today Windows 7 is available for pre-order at the a huge 70% discount. The price for the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium E is £149.99. If you pre-order now you only pay £44.97.

The Microsoft Windows 7 Professional E has a normal price of £219.99. If you pre-order it today you only pay £89.97.

The Windows 7 pre-order discounts are available until 9th of August. Windows 7 ships on October 22nd. If you plan to upgrade your PC or notebook from XP or Vista in October you really should grab this deal now. Upgrading to Windows 7 will not get any cheaper unless you buy a new computer with Windows 7 pre-installed.
