Apple unveiled a new generation of the iPod touch. The new iPod touch 2G has the same 3.5 inch touch-screen but is thinner and now has built-in speakers.
Additionally the iPod touch 2G has the Nike+iPod sensor and software integrated.
Other features include accelerometer, Genius playlist, and integrated volume control. Of course the new iPod touch still supports Wifi.
Measurements of the new iPod touch are 4.1x2.4x0.33 inches and the weight is 4.05 ounces.
The music play time is up to 36 hours when fully charged and the video playback time is up to 6 hours when fully charged.
The new iPod touch will be available in 8GB ($229), 16GB ($299) and 32GB ($399) storage options. The new iPod touch devices start shipping today at the Apple Store.
