Apple announced yesterday the new iPod players for this fall including the complete new iPod nano 4th generation. The new iPod nano is the prettiest of the nano series and is also the thinnest iPod to date.
Apple gives you 9 colors to choose from, which is possibly the most difficult task in picking a new iPod nano as a Christmas gift.
Does the green one match her bag? Is the black one too boring? Or is black the best timeless color? Questions over questions.
Good thing the iPod nano only comes in 8GB and 16GB storage configurations. Deciding that is not that difficult as choices are limited.
The 8GB iPod nano already ships for $149 from the Apple Store, while the 16GB version ($199) still needs a couple days.
The new iPod nano has neat little enhancements like an accelerometer sensor and a refreshed user interface with cover flow. You can do neat things like shaking the player for shuffle. The new nano is also more environmentally friendly and uses fewer problematic materials.
The new iPod nano has all features you need to enjoy music from iTunes in a small stylish player.
For Whom:
For stylish people who like to have a tiny music player to listen to music anywhere and occassionally watch a video.
The Good:
Thin and small
Stylish
Lots of colors
Accelerometer
Easy to use
Environmentally friendly
The Bad:
No Wi-Fi
No FM Radio
Where to Buy:
The iPod nano 4G sells from the Apple Store and other retailers.
