Xbox 360 outsold Sony PS3 in August

The price-cut of the Xbox 360 Arcade to $199 just started a week ago, but also in August the Xbox 360 outsold already the Sony PS3.
Microsoft managed to sell 195,200 Xbox 360 consoles. Sony sold about 10,000 units less of the PS3 with 185,400 consoles.
Of course the Wii outsold both the Xbox 360 and the Sony PS3 again by a wide margin.
The real console battle of 2008 is still coming when the Holiday Shopping Season starts. November and December video game sales will show who can dazzle consumers more with the new game line-ups and attractive pricing.
