T-Mobile in the US is expected to launch its Google Android powered mobile phone today. The feelings on Android at this point are very mixed, some consumers are excited, but many people feel the phone simply won’t take off.

Analyst Ilja Laurs doesn't expect much for the launch, no meaningful new features and only one device. So far, T-Mobile is one of the few operators that have agreed to sell the phone. Google faces stiff competition in the mobile Os market place.
"What we expect will happen is that Google will launch very softly, one device, and the user experience on it will noting to compare to the iPhone," said Ilja Laurs, founder of mobile development network GetJar.
