Sanyo's HD101 Xacti camcorder is now available in the UK. The camcorder can capture 1080i HD video at 60 fps. The small camcorder sports face-chaser technology for improved video and still shows as well as slow-mo recording.

The camcorder can shoot seven frames per second for action photography. Recording is to SD or SDHC cards up to 32Gb of capacity and the LCD is 2.7-inches in size. The lens has 10x optical zoom.

Still shots are captured in 4MP resolution and video is recorded in MPEG4 AVC/H.264 format. Sanyo's HD1010 retails for right at £500.
