Nintendo also says that supplies of the Wii in America will see significant increases between October and December compared to 2007 levels. Considering you couldn’t find the console during the holiday season last year, that is good news.
Key new software for the holiday season according to Nintendo includes Wii Music, which launches on October 20th and allows players to mimic playing different instruments with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. Animal Crossing: City Folk will launch on November 16th and WiiWare will launch to deliver new games directly to the Wii console.
