The E2 is waterproof and can record video underwater at up to five feet deep for thirty minutes. That means you can take the camcorder into the pool and shoot underwater video or take it snorkeling. Certainly, you won't worry about splashes, spills or rain ever again.
The camcorder features 5x optical zoom, 8MP still photos, face detection, video face chaser and shake control. Video is recorded in AVC/H.264 video compression and 8 hours can be recorded to a single 8GB SHDC card in TV-HQ mode. Video files can be directly imported to iTunes and full resolution still shots and 640 x 480 video can be recorded at the same time. The E2 retails for around $350.
