The Asus Eee PC 1000H is almost a full notebook with its 10 inch screen. At $479 it is still affordable though and it runs Windows XP and not Vista.

The Intel Atom powered Asus Eee PC 1000H runs on a 6 cell battery delivering 7 hours of operation.
Other features of the 1000H include 1.3MP camera, Wi-fi 802.11n, Bluetooth, SD card slot and 3x USB.
The Asus Eee PC 1000H is a solid notebook/netbook in an elegant and compact design. Asus pioneered the netbook sector and with the 1000 series it defines the upper border of that segment.
For Whom:
The Asus Eee 1000H is a great gift for people who do not want to learn Vista and stick with Windows XP. It is a big enough notebook for casual use or the ideal full featured 2nd notebook for the living room or on the go.
