A new installment in the Alone in the Dark Franchise is set to hit the PS3 in November. The game is called Alone in the Dark: Inferno and puts players in the shoes of paranormal investigator Edward Carnby over the course of a night in Central Park.

The game gives players 360-degree camera control, fine-tuned controls, more accessible inventory system, and on-screen tips that help players adapt to controls. The game includes an exclusive new sequence in Episode 6 and 59th Street level tuning is tweaked.

In Early November, a playable demo will be released on the Playstation Network. This game sounds really creepy and should be a popular title this holiday season for gamers who like things a little scary.
