MINOX Releases New Binoculars

MINOX is announced a slew of new products today and the latest is the new APO HG Binoculars. The binoculars are apochromatically correct and are available in 8.5x43 and 10x42. Lenses in the binoculars are SCHOTT fluoride ED-glass elements and are able to deliver color-fringe-free images.

The lenses are coated with a new Minotec multicoating that helps repel dirt, dust, and water from external glass surfaces. The binoculars are focused with a single knob for ease of use and the body is made from magnesium.

The devices weigh only 23.3 ounces and have a rubber coating to add drop protection. For added protection in and around water, the binoculars are water resistant to 16 feet. The APO HG binoculars come in a wooden box and have a leather case at a retail price of $1799 for the 8.5x43 and $1849 for the 10x43.
