Verizon and RIM officially announced the BlackBerry Storm on October 8th. To keep your interest up, Verizon published video material of the BlackBerry Storm. We published the video in our Youtube channel and you can see it below.
The video shows in detail several key aspects of the first touch screen BlackBerry.
The typing on the virtual keyboard of the Storm looks in the video reasonably fast, but you have to of course stare at the screen at all times to hit the right keys. For BlackBerry power users this will not work well.I think the Storm will have a hard time competing with the iPhone. The BlackBerry Bold has a much easier walk to success.
There is now a final release date for the BlackBerry Storm on Verizon Wireless. Of course pricing is also still up in the air. More details about the BlackBerry Storm.
