The once biggest toy store is set to battle Wal-mart this holiday shopping season to win back the crown they lost 10 years ago to Wal-mart. Toys 'R' Us re-launched their site and already has a special sale this weekend (ends today).
Toys 'R' Us CEO Gerald Storch believes that the day after Thanksgiving aka Black Friday will be the biggest in history. I already made that prediction in this report back in August. Black Friday and Thanksgiving Sales anyway get bigger every year, but the economic situation will even push more consumers to look for the best deals.
Looking at the Toys 'R' Us site it looks very clean and invites to shop. The toy seller also offers now Store Pick-up, Rewards "R" Us program, Wish List feature, and Gift Finder.
Check out Toys "R" Us site. See also this Chicago Tribune article on the Toys 'R' Us Holiday strategy.
We will intensively report about the newest Black Friday and Thanksgiving deals as they become available to help you through the madness. Check out for instance our 100 Days to Thanksgiving countdown, where we feature a great gadget gift each day until the Holiday Sales kick off.
