One thing most people don’t look at and think about upgrading is their alarm clock. Despite that fact, the alarm clock is one of the things that almost all of us need. There is an argument to be made for the better your method of waking up, the better your mood is. If you are tired of waking up to a buzzer or radio station that doesn't play your favorite genre of music, the Logitech Pure-Fi Anytime is for you.

The Pure-Fi Anytime is more than just an AM/FM alarm clock with dual alarms and good looks. The device has a built-in iPod dock that charges your iPod and allows you to listen to music from it at the same time. The gadget also has a wireless remote that allows you to control all aspects of playback from across the room.

One of the coolest features is the snooze function that is activated by simply waving your hand over the top of the clock. The alarms can be set to wake you to a buzzer, FM or AM radio or custom playlists from your iPod. Sound quality is good and the Pure-Fi Anytime is very cool. It also features a rear 3.5mm jack for players other than the iPod. This is one of those gifts that people will love, but would never buy themselves.

For Whom:

The Logitech Pure-Fi Anytime is perfect for anyone using an old and junky alarm clock that is also a big fan of the iPod music players.

The Good:

  • Docks all dockable iPods
  • 3.5mm rear input
  • Remote
  • Cool snooze function

The Bad:

  • Lacks bass
