The WowWee Rovio Wifi webcam roaming robot is one of the hottest gadgets for this Holiday season. WowWee has released several behind the scenes photos that show how the robot makers came up with the final design of the Rovio.
The photo shows the first prototype of the Rovio, which is basically a webcam mounted on a wooden block on wheels.
See all photos of the Rovio evolution on the RoboCommunity.
The Rovio robot streams audio and high-resolution (640 x 480px) video in MPEG4 format, and it can take still pictures and e-mail them to you. Rovio has a two-way microphone and speaker that enables real-time interaction with subjects - for instance your cat.
More details about Rovio. Rovio is on sale on Amazon.com.
