The events will start at 10 p.m. local time on Wednesday, November 12th and will include costume, art, and trivia contests. The game will release at 12:01 a.m. and if your city has multiple GameStop stores odds are there is more than one event taking place.
“In a year when we’ve seen a number of major new titles and expansions, we are particularly excited about this release,” said Bob McKenzie, Senior Vice President of Merchandising, GameStop. “World of Warcraft is a global phenomenon and partnering with Blizzard Entertainment for the worldwide release of this expansion lets us truly give power to the players, especially those of Azeroth.”
