Dell announced the new 12 inch Vista netbook dubbed Dell mini 12 at the end of October. After an early review of the mini 12, Laptop Magazine has now published more details of a brand new unit they just received.
The Dell mini 12 looks great but apparently lacks performance. Maybe Running Windows Vista on an Atom Z530 CPU is not a good idea after all.
Apparently it takes over 2 minutes to get the Vista desktop and over 4 minutes before all of the preinstalled programs, including the Dell Dock, loaded. Hello? Where is the next trashcan to through this netbook in? Dell, install XP or Linux to fix this now before rolling out the Dell mini 12.
