Google is enhancing the iPhone search software with voice recognition.
Your spoken query is sent to Google servers that try to understand what you said and run a search and display the results on your iPhone.
The NY Times tested the new Google Search by voice and it seems to work better than the voice search interfaces of Microsoft and Yahoo.
Typing on phones is a pain. If voice recognition is working well enough than this is just a great improvement in usability.
The new Google Search version is expected to show up on iTunes today.
