Nintendo was able to sell 803,210 Wii consoles, once more becoming the top selling console in the US in October. This number is about 120,000 more consoles than in September. Nintendo has now sold over 13 million Wii consoles in the US since its launch in November 2006.
Microsoft sold 371,000 Xbox 360 consoles, which is a slight increase from last month. Only Sony could not improve the PS3 sales in October and actually looks at a decline of almost 20% compared to September with 190,000 PS3 consoles.
On the positive side Sony sold in only 5 days 215,000 copies of LittleBigPlanet for the PS3.
