If you do not want to fool around you should of course get the top of the line Intel Core i7 Extreme Edition 965 3.2GHz CPU selling for a hefty $1,069.99.
The most affordable Core i7 CPU Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz selling for $319.99.
On the motherboard side of things new X58 Motherboards from Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, Intel are available to choose from. The most expensive available on NewEgg right now is the ASUS Rampage II Extreme LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard selling for $398.99.
