MySpace and RIM today announced record download numbers of the MySpace for BlackBerry application in its first week of availability with an astonishing 400,000 downloads.
Since the BlackBerry MySpace application launched on November 13th there have been more than 400,000 downloads which represents an all-time high for both MySpace and RIM in terms of first week application downloads. I thought BlackBerry smartphones are mostly used by business people. What are you guys doing on MySpace? Through the MySpace for BlackBerry smartphones application, BlackBerry addicts collectively sent and received more than 15 million messages and updated their mood and status over two million times in the first week.
The MySpace app is available for download here.
The MySpace application is available for a wide variety of BlackBerry smartphones, including the BlackBerry Bold, BlackBerry Curve, BlackBerry Pearl, and BlackBerry 8800 Series.
The MySpace App comes to the BlackBerry Storm on November 24, 2008.
