I have talked about ZAGG before; it is the firm that makes the touch and transparent coverings for all sorts of gadgets including the iPhone, Mac and other notebooks. The company has announced a new line of audio products called ZAGGaudio.

The first product in the line is the Z.buds earphones. The maker promises that the earphones offer sound as good as earphones costing twice as much. The design uses passive noise cancellation technology and has a durable nylon cord. Two colors are available including red or black and a microphone is integrated for use on music phones. Also included are different ear tips made from foam, silicone, and triple-flange tips. Pricing for the Z.buds is $79.99.

“ZAGG strives to provide electronics accessories that meet the needs of consumers,” said Robert Pedersen II, president and CEO of ZAGG Inc. “Receiving this prestigious recognition from CES demonstrates that with the Z.buds, we have once again delivered something that looks and feels different than anything on the market, while providing the superior quality that consumers have come to expect from ZAGG.”
