Our Top 100 Gift Guide is split in 10 categories and one of them is the Top 10 Desktop PC Gift ideas. Despite being not totally new the Apple iMac All-in-One Desktop marvel cannot be missed. It still unmatched, only the HP TouchSmart comes close.
Of course I would have preferred Apple releasing a new iMac for the holidays featuring multi-touch screen, an Intel Core i7 CPU and Blu-ray drive, but there is always a Christmas 2009.
Back to the iMac you can gift somebody you really love this Christmas. Go for the biggest iMac. It is just much more impressive to look at a 24 inch than at a 20 inch iMac.
The top of the line 24 inch iMac features a 3.06Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, 2GB RAM, 500GB HDD, 8x double-layer Super Drive, and NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS with 512MB video card and sells for $2,199. RAM can be customized up to 4GB and the HDD sizes go up to 1TB.
