Movie streaming was long talked about, but this Holiday season it is available in a big way. Netflix launched earlier this year devices like the Roku Netflix Player and also the Xbox 360 streams Netflix rented movies now. Netflix biggest competitor Blockbuster cannot be left out of the online movie streaming business and launched now their own solution.
Blockbuster OnDemand is available on the 2Wire MediaPoint digital media player selling now on the Blockbuster site for $99 including 25 free Blockbuster OnDemand movie rentals - pretty sweet deal.
The Blockbuster MediaPoint digital media player works seamlessly with any broadband connection, either wirelessly via built-in Wi-Fi or wired via Ethernet cable. You can connect the Blockbuster box to a HDTV through composite cable, HDMI, component cable, or Toslink.
Blockbuster OnDemand rentals start at $1.99.
