Nokia has announced that its 5800 XpressMusic phone is now shipping. The handset features a touchscreen and will be available in markets globally soon. Features of the handset include 8GB of onboard memory, support for all main digital formats, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and has built-in speakers.

The screen is a 3.2-inch unit with 16:9 aspect ratio and the ability to play full motion video. A 3.2MP camera can record video and take still images that can be shared online. Flash is supported on the handset for Internet use.

"The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic delivers on this and allows consumers to quickly and easily access and share the content that is most important to them with the people that are most important to them."
