The BlackBerry Storm OS problems have widely been discussed. The pressure on RIM is high to release a new software update for the BlackBerry Storm as soon as possible. Now a new BlackBerry Storm firmware update has been leaked unofficially on the web.
A user of the Crackberry site has uploaded the OS 4.7.0.75 to the web. The update is a desktop install and requires a Windows PC to run.
To update your BlackBerry Storm with this leaked update is highly risky. It could brick your Storm or you might not be able to update once RIM officially issues the next BlackBerry Storm software update.Some people report that they have successfully installed the Storm update, others have problems. One poster says a Verizon employee told him that this Storm update officially will be released Tuesday. Update: Verizon made a Storm update available to BES users.
