Sony Announces SingStar ABBA for the Holidays

Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced a new PS3 and PS2 game for the holiday season in the SingStar franchise. The title is called SingStar ABBA. SCEA says the game was developed in conjunction with ABBA and gives the groups most popular tracks to fans for Karaoke style fun.

The game integrates with the Playstation Eye to allow players to capture their best performances, and the miserable failures of their friends for making fun of them. Tracks in the game include 'Mamma Mia', 'Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)', 'Dancing Queen', 'Take a Chance on Me' and 'Waterloo'.

"SingStar ABBA marks the franchise's first foray into delivering premium, artist-specific content that PlayStation fans have been craving," said Scott A. Steinberg, vice president of product marketing, SCEA. "Expanding the SingStar catalog with some of the greatest pop tracks of all time, SingStar ABBA is sure to be the ultimate party entertainment for friends and family this holiday season."
