The service has now launched online and is called Sky Player TV. The station is accessible to anyone in the UK and Ireland and watchers don’t have to have a Sky satellite to watch the channel. Customers will need to pay a monthly subscription to access the programming and the Base pack includes The Disney Channel, British Eurosport, National Geographic channel, Sky News, and Sky Sports News.
Additional channels like Sky Sports 103 and Extra will be available for an additional charge. Non-Sky subscribers will pay £7.50 if they register before January, after the price will be £15. Additional channels will up the cost to £22 per month.
