Sony Home Will Launch this Month

Buy sony ps3 from Amazon Cyber Monday and Black Friday Now

If you have been anxiously waiting for Sony PlayStation Home to launch Joystiq has confirmed the launch of the social networking platform, sort of. According to information, Joystiq found out that Sony Home will launch its open beta phase before the end of 2008, which means it has mere weeks to get underway.

Sony's Jack Buser told Joystiq that launch is imminent, but stopped short of giving the exact date for the launch. The other piece of the Sony Home puzzle is how it will get to the console.

Joystiq thinks that we may not be looking at a firmware download to get the update. It would be strange to me for Sony to require users to buy Home at the store, I just don’t see many people doing that.
