Palm Nova Smartphone to debut at CES 2009

Palm teased us with news that the company will introduce so called Palm new-ness at the CES 2009. BusinessWeek reports that Palm is debuting its new OS code-named Nova at the CES 2009.
Apparently Palm wants to position its new Nova powered smartphone between the iPhone and the BlackBerry, where the company sees a gap.
Palm does not reveal any details on what they cooked up with Nova and the new Palm smartphones they will reveal at CES 2009. Insiders say it is supposed to be huge, but it will be really tough to surprise consumers with something that is better, easier to use, different, and more complete than an iPhone or BlackBerry. But hey, I am ready to get surprised. If this new generation of Palm devices fails, it is most likely over for the PDA pioneer.
