Internet speeds are one thing that we all want more of. You never hear someone saying; man, my connection is just too fast. Today Virgin media unveiled a new Internet access speed that is the fastest around at a whopping 50Mbps.

That means Virgin is offering speeds of twice what its closest competitor has available. Virgin is the first ISP in the UK to roll out its next generation service to users.

It's not clear exactly how many of Virgin's customers will have access to the new super fast connection. For these speeds, users will be charged £51per month for Internet alone and if bundled with a phone line the access casts £35 monthly.
