Viewsonic Announces 24-inch 1080p HDTV

Viewsonic has announced a new size category for LCD HDTVs. The new VT2430 HDTV has a full HD 1080p screen resolution and sports a 24-inch screen size. The 24-inch screen is designed for smaller spaces like an office or bedroom.

Features of the set in addition to the full HD resolution include a dynamic contrast ration of 10000:1 HDMI 1.3 connectivity. The set features HDCP to work with Blu-ray players and protected content.

Aspect ratio for the set is 16:9 and integrated tuners include ATSC/NTSC/QAM. The set has a MSRP of $399. That's not such a bad price and will make this set attractive to students graduating and looking at dorm life next year.
