LG Set
to Debut 480Hz LCD TV at CES 2009 LG has announced that it will be showing off the world's first Trumotion 480Hz LCD TV at CES 2009. Today it is still common for HDTVs to have 60Hz refresh rates, and 120Hz is still not very common. I already mentioned today that I expect to see many 240Hz sets at the show, but LG is even doubling that number. |

HDTV
Trends to Expect at CES 2009 A few trends are popping up and will be on prominent display at the show. One of the trends that continues (and has been prominent each year) is the move to ever-thinner designs. A thin TV looks really cool at the maker's booth, but does the average consumer really care how thin the set is? |
