It also uses a 3.6x Zoom and the Nikkor lens with the image quality and performance of Nikon’s innovative EXPEED digital image-processing concept. The Coolpix L22 is a high quality, compact digital camera available at an amazing price. One great feature of this camera is it is powered by AA batteries so you can pick them up virtually anywhere with ease so you are never stuck needing to wait on your camera to charge.

The Coolpix L22 features a 3-inch LCD monitor that offers you clear crisp images to view so you can always get a good shot of your subject then look thru the pictures you have taken easily and clearly. It also features Intelligent Automation which contributes to carefree shooting. Easy Auto Mode makes taking pictures easy by taking control of the settings so you do not have to worry about having it on the right one for the different situation's you may find yourself in.

The camera can also capture 640 x 480 movies with sound at 30fps.
