ViewSonic launched a 3D-ready line dubbed FuHzion at the CES 2009. The ViewSonic FuHzion includes an 120Hz desktop LCD monitor, the ViewSonic VX2265wm, and a 2,200 lumens portable lightweight projector, the ViewSonic PJD6220-3D. ViewSonic says that the adaptable and affordable new FuHzion line will make 3D standard in the home.
The 22-inch VX2265wm 120Hz desktop LCD monitor produces rich, colorful, blur-free video for traditional 2D gaming, entertainment and graphic applications, while also delivering stereoscopic 3D when used with the new NVIDIA GeForce 3D Vision stereoscopic active shutter glasses for the home. The NVIDIA GeForce 3D Vision glasses, compatible with more than 350 existing entertainment titles, makes the VX2265wm a perfect match to deliver immersive, ultra-realistic PC gaming experiences.
In addition to the 120Hz frame rate support, the VX2265wm offers a 2ms video response time to remove virtually all motion artifacts and ghosting. Its 1680 x 1050 HD resolution allows users to further enjoy fast-action games, and built-in HDCP support provides the ability to view high-definition video content. The monitor is Windows Vista™ certified and coupled with SRS WOW™ HD sound technology, invisible stereo speakers and has a sleek black design. The VX2265wm has an MSRP of $399 and will be available in January 2009.
The ViewSonic PJD6220-3D is a portable, lightweight DLP projector and is 3D-ready for PC content, allowing consumers to watch high-quality 3D at home at a fraction of the price. With 2200 lumen output, it creates large format stereoscopic 3D at an unprecedented level of price and performance. Cinemas across the world rely on DLP technology to create an immersive 3D experience in the movie theater, and now ViewSonic is one of the first to create a 3D projector for the home.
The PJD6220-3D supports up to the native 1024 x 768 resolution at a true 120Hz frame rate. A bright, professional-level 3D projector, the product can easily display up to 25 ft (diagonal 3D) high-definition images. Advanced DLP technology with BrilliantColorTM provides stunning, vibrant colors on screen. The PJD6220-3D also offers a 2000:1 contrast ratio and an integrated 10W audio system to complete an immersive, blur-free 3D gaming experience.
The PJD6220-3D has an MSRP of $1,499 and will be available in February 2009.
