Robotsrule tested the new 2009 WowWee Lightstar available for $20 at Target.
The Lightstar is a miniature flying light show that hovers in mid-air while spinning with bright green and blue LEDs. In the dark it looks like a small green spinning planet with a halo of blue rings for moons.
Quote from the review: "The Lightstar comes with a remote control that requires 2 AA batteries. The infrared remote charges the Lightstar with its umbilical cord. Charging takes only 10 minutes and gives you 4 minutes of flying fun. Its available in the USA now at local Target stores and costs only $20 USD. The remote supports three channesl (Bands) so 3 people can each fly a separate Lightstar independently while in the same room. The video on the review page shows the Lightstar both in the light and then shows how cool it looks when flown in the dark."
