IRiver P35, P7, UNIT-2S, D50N, And Wave Unveiled At CES 2009

There have been so many CES 2009 News that we totally missed the new iRiver product announcements. Last year iRiver made it a bit more exciting revealing their new CES 2008 announcements one by one on their Korean site. This year they just issued two press-releases and briefed press before hand on the new products. I had them stored on my HDD weeks before the CES. Well look what happened, I forgot about them.
Anyway here are now the new iRiver CES 2009 announcements.The iRiver P7 (hi-res photo) is a portable media player with 4.3 inch LCD touscreen and will come in 4, 8 and 16GB Flash memory.
Features of the iRiver P7 include Video, Music, Photo viewer, FM and Voice Recording. The compact P7 delivers up to 50 hours of audio playback time and full movie CODEC support.

The iRiver P35 (hi-res photo) is hottest new iRiver CES 2009 announcemnet. A portable media player with built-in Wi-Fi and G-sensor the iRiver P35 takes on the Apple iPod touch. The G-sensor of the P35 gives the user the cool and convenient ability to change the song they are listening to by shaking the player, instead of using buttons.
The iRiver P35 offers Music, Video (30fps), Photo viewer, Drawing, FM Radio, Voice Recording, Flash game, Office viewer and DMB (in regions where available).
The P35 utilizes iRiver's SPINN technology that matches digital performance with the retro feel of analog user controls. Other features include a 4.3" TFT-LCD with Touch screen, Built in Mic and TV-out, support of Full Movie CODEC, a built-in speaker, 16 GB and 32GB Nand Flash (Micro SD Slot), and USB 2.0.OTG The P35 supports DSLR Raw file viewing.

iRiver's powerful new D50 is a compact, keyboard-based networking and multimedia device that offers full Internet browsing and Instant Messaging in Wi-Fi environments. Featuring a large 4.8" TFT LCD (WVGA 800x480px) with full touch screen interactivity, the D50 lets you enjoy multimedia on the fly, including Video, Music, Photo viewer, Office viewer, FM Radio, Voice Recording, and Dictionary. It provides 16GB Nand Flash (Micro SD Slot) and USB2.0.

The new iRiver UNIT-2S (hi-res photo) is a home communication device that functions as Internet Video Phone, SMS/MMS, Phonebook sync etc. Widget, Web Browser, Internet Radio, Music, Video, Photo Viewer, Flash Game, and FM Radio. Features include 7 inch screen, wireless headset, 1.3MP camera, USB 2.0 and Ethernet.

The iRiver Wave W10 Wi-Fi phone and media player was already announced in November but also was exhibited the CES 2009.

iRiver also exhibted the E100 Season II Multimedia MP3 Player, E50 MP4 Player and new Mplayer Eyes.

iRiver did not publish release dates and prices on the newly unveiled devices.
