Motorola says that it will now focus completely on phones running Android rather than Windows Mobile. This is likely due to the no cost Android operating system compared to the costly Windows Mobile.
Sony Ericsson announced financial data last week that was worse than many analysts expected with a posted loss of £6.9m in 2008. Sony Ericsson shipped 24.2 million handsets in2008, 21% less than in 2007.
