Over the weekend an entry for a Sony PS3 Slim appeared on German Amazon. Now pieces fall together as a new rumor suggests that Sony will unveil the new Sony PS3 Slim at the Gamescom 2009 in Cologne on August 18th.
According to RTLInfo.be (Via Engadget) Sony would not only introduce the new Sony PS3 Slim at the gamescom, but also cut the PS3 pricing by 100 Euro to 299 Euro.
The Gamescom 2009 is taking place the first time in Cologne and is Europe's biggest video game trade show. We asked like everybody else for PS3 price-cuts. Now it looks like it is finally happening.
I am not necessarily a fan of a slim PS3 console, but if it helps Sony to offer an even more affordable Sony PS3, why not.
